CHOLLO RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY

At Chollo, we want you to shop with confidence. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help.

1. Return Eligibility

You may request to return an item within 14 days of receiving your order, provided that the item:

  • Is unused and in its original condition.
  • Is returned in its original packaging with all accessories, manuals and tags included.
  • Is accompanied by proof of purchase or your order number.

Returns that do not meet these conditions may not be accepted.

2. Faulty or Damaged Products

If your item arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

Where a product is confirmed to be faulty or incorrectly supplied, Chollo will, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, offer one of the following:

  • Repair the product.
  • Replace the product.
  • Refund the purchase price.

Where applicable, Chollo will arrange collection of the faulty item at no cost to the customer.

3. Change of Mind Returns

If you wish to return a product because you have changed your mind, you may do so within 14 days of receiving your order, provided the product is unused, unopened where applicable, and in its original resaleable condition.

Customers are responsible for the return shipping costs unless otherwise agreed by Chollo.

Original delivery charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part or the product is faulty.

4. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene, safety or legal reasons, the following items cannot be returned unless they are faulty:

  • Gift cards or vouchers.
  • Personal care or hygiene products once opened.
  • Customised or personalised products.
  • Products marked as non-returnable.
  • Digital products or downloadable content.

5. Refunds

Once your returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take additional time for the funds to reflect in your account.

6. Exchanges

We only replace items that are defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied.

If you wish to exchange an item for a different size, colour or model, please contact us to confirm product availability before returning the item.

7. Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless:

  • The incorrect product was supplied.
  • The product arrived damaged.
  • The product is defective under warranty.
  • The return is otherwise required under the Consumer Protection Act.

We recommend using a tracked courier service for all returns, as Chollo cannot be held responsible for returned parcels lost or damaged in transit.

8. How to Request a Return

To request a return, please contact our Customer Support team with the following information:

  • Product details
  • Reason for the return
  • Photographs (where applicable)

Please do not return any products without first receiving return instructions from our customer support team.

9. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008, or any other applicable South African legislation.

Where the Consumer Protection Act provides greater protection than this policy, the provisions of the Act shall prevail.
